This seamless experience is made possible by hardworking men and women who work behind the counter and often, behind the scenes to make shopping a delight.
On the 12th of December, 2019, on the occasion of Retail Employee Day, we recognized these efforts and expressed our gratitude to retail associates for their never-ending support.
The planning for this much-awaited day started 6 weeks in advance and culminated in 2,045 employees across 220 stores being personally met by 65+ managers, who expressed their pride and gratitude
Our store teams and their families joined us as we cut cakes, enjoyed potluck lunches and distributed sweets. Special wishes from our CEO Mr. Vishak Kumar and ex-Indian Cricketer VVS Laxman were morale boosters, adding to the overall feeling of merriment on the floor.
Managers gave their team members customized thank you and appreciation cards, bringing a wide smile to their faces. The day also involved some fun and engaging learning through over 190 videos on unique topics like store operations, merchandize, and customer greetings and delight.
