Delighting Customers with every purchase

We at ABFRL, present stories excerpted from Peter England’s internal newsletter ‘Trendsetters’, where we celebrate stories of our people and their contributions. 

Keeping customers happy whenever they visit the store is an integral part of the ABFRL DNA, and Peter England is no exception. Here are a few anecdotes of how we brought smiles to the faces of our patrons.

Abhishek, Balrampur Store Manager, Uttar Pradesh

A customer visited our store for his wedding shopping on 27th March. He picked one suit, but it wasn’t available in his size. The store manager arranged for the suit in his size from another store 350 Km away, which arrived the very next day! The customer was so overjoyed that he invited the entire store staff for his wedding as well! 

Chilakaluripeta Store, Andhra Pradesh

A customer visited our store for his wedding shopping at 9.30 pm. He gave the trouser for alteration, but at that late hour, the tailor wasn’t available. The customer’s marriage was to be solemnized the next morning at 11 am and he wanted the trouser delivered by 10 am. Our staff Shiva went to the tailor’s house at 8 am and requested him to complete the alteration as soon as possible. The product was delivered to the customer on time. The customer was very touched and happy with our service. He visited our store twice after his wedding and has become our loyal customer. 

Jeet, Sundar Nagar Store Manager, Himachal Pradesh 

A customer, doctor by profession, visited the store with an intent of window shopping, as he was in town to meet his relatives. After a brief conversation with the store manager, he decided to try a white trouser, which he had been wanting to purchase for a while. He ended up spending about 2.5 hours at the store, purchasing a white trouser, 3 shorts, a three-piece-suit, tie, belt, innerwear and deodorant. He was highly appreciative of our staff service and merchandise as well. The store team keeps in regular touch with this customer. 

Serampore Store, West Bengal

The customer chose a Nehru Jacket on the day our store opened. He further selected two shirts, however, sizes were not available. The next day, our team arranged for the shirts in the required size from the Maslandapur store. Through a video call, the customer saw these shirts in his size, and he made an online payment for them. We then delivered the shirts to his residence. 

Rajampeta Store, Andhra Pradesh

In March 2021, a customer visited our hyperlocal website and ordered a product for gifting. After receiving the order, our store team called the customer for order confirmation and product delivery. During the conversation, he mentioned that the order was a gift for his brother’s birthday. He was out of the station, but wanted to surprise his brother by gifting him at midnight. Our store team checked the address and it was close to our store manager’s house. Our team WOWed our client by delivering the birthday gift on time. The customer appreciated our service and said he will visit the store again. 

Hingoli Store, Maharashtra

A customer visited our PE Red Hingoli store for the first time to purchase a shirt. He loved our casual shirts display and asked for the CCA. Our CCA assistant Mr. Vishnu understood his requirement and the customer bought products worth INR 40,000. When Mr. Vishnu explained to him about our free trimmer offer, the customer added more merchandise. As the offer was not applicable on accessories, he was billed separately for INR 34,771 and INR 10,900 respectively. After two days, the customers visited the store again along with his friends and asked for Vishnu. He shopped for his friend and was pleased with Vishnu’s service and appreciated his salesmanship skills. 

Tiruttani Store, Tamil Nadu

A new customer, visited our store to purchase new clothes to gift his staff. We sold 60 pieces for 33 staff members. Our customer was very satisfied with our service and plans to visit the store next month to purchase suits and blazers for his staff.
